I.Overview
Ultrafiltration (UF) system plays a core role in the field of water reuse, realizing deep purification of wastewater through efficient physical screening, so that the effluent water reaches the standard of landscape, industrial or municipal miscellaneous use.
Ultrafiltration system in the water reuse to achieve "water quality assurance - economic feasibility - low-carbon sustainable" triple breakthrough, its technology selection should focus on: the characteristics of the influent water and membrane aperture matching degree, the whole life cycle costing, and the coupling with the subsequent process.
II.Process design
Municipal wastewater reuse standard process:
secondary effluent → coagulation and sedimentation → ultrafiltration (0.03μm) → sodium hypochlorite disinfection → reuse basin
High-standard industrial reuse combined process:
MBR effluent → ultrafiltration → reverse osmosis → ultraviolet disinfection → boiler make-up water
(technology highlights: UF as a protective barrier for RO, SDI stability <3; dual-membrane recovery rate of up to 75%-85%)
