I. Introduction to Automatic Water Softening System


The softening water treatment system is a water treatment equipment that uses the ion exchange principle to remove calcium and magnesium ions from water. It is mainly used in industrial boilers, cooling systems, chemical production and domestic water. Its core component is the sodium ion exchanger, which is filled with strong acid ion exchange resin. The sodium ions replace the calcium and magnesium ions to achieve water softening.

V:How to choose the model

2. System water use time: That is, operating time/hourly water consumption/average value/peak value/ Does the equipment need continuous water supply? If necessary, select the double-bed centralized control or double-control double-bed series, otherwise the single-valve single-tank series can be selected.


3. Total hardness of source water The water source is municipal tap watergroundwatersurface water source, and the total hardness of raw water in the use area. For a certain type of water softener, the raw water hardness is high, and its cycle water production must be relatively reduced, which leads to frequent regeneration of the soft water equipment. Relatively reduce the service life of the resin. To avoid such a situation, the resin volume should be increased, which means using a larger model of water softener.


4. Required soft water unit flow rate (tons/hour). This depends on the nature and requirements of the user's equipment; 5. Setting of cycle water production After the water softener model is set, according to the raw water hardness, the exchange working capacity of the resin used can determine the theoretical cycle water production (tons).
