III. High-Hardness Water Softening
High hardness purified water" typically refers to water that contains a high concentration of minerals or metal ions, particularly calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) ions. The higher the hardness of the water, the more dissolved minerals it contains. Hard water often leads to scale formation, which can affect pipes and equipment.
