In the textile industry, water is a core production resource (e.g., spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing processes require large amounts of water), and it also generates highly polluted, high-color wastewater (water consumption for every 10,000 meters of fabric can reach hundreds of tons, with wastewater discharge accounting for over 10% of total industrial wastewater). Reclaimed water reuse is a key strategy for the textile industry to achieve water conservation, emissions reduction, and cost reduction — by subjecting textile wastewater to advanced treatment, it can be reused in both production and non-production applications. This approach alleviates water resource pressure while reducing pollutant emissions (such as dyes and auxiliaries).
