What is a 2TH Industrial RO + EDI + Polishing System ?

This system is an industrial-grade ultrapure water treatment solution that produces 2 tons (2000 liters) of pure water per hour.

It combines Reverse Osmosis (RO), Electrodeionization (EDI), and a Mixed Bed Polishing Unit to achieve extremely high water purity — up to 18.2 MΩ·cm resistivity, suitable for industries requiring ultrapure water.

How does the system work?

The process includes several purification stages:

  • Pre-treatment – removes suspended solids, chlorine, and hardness using multi-media filters, activated carbon, and a softener.
  • Reverse Osmosis (RO) – removes 95–99% of dissolved salts and impurities.
  • EDI Module – continuously deionizes water without using chemicals, improving purity to 15 MΩ·cm or higher.
  • Polishing (Mixed Bed) – the final stage that refines water to laboratory-grade purity.

Why combine RO and EDI instead of using RO alone?

RO alone cannot remove all ionic impurities. The EDI module acts like a continuous “smart resin system,” using electricity and membranes to polish the water — no need for acid or alkali regeneration. This means lower maintenance costs, environmental friendliness, and consistent quality.
