Product Description

I.Performance Characteristics

The operating pressure of ultrafiltration membranes is typically 0.02–0.3 MPa, which effectively removes suspended solids, colloidal particles, bacteria, and most viruses from water. The removal rate of organic matter is 20–60%, with almost no interception of small-molecule organic matter and inorganic ions. Currently, it is widely used in industries such as drinking water, industrial water treatment, beverages, environmental protection, chemicals, metallurgy, and food processing. Especially in the production fields of seawater desalination, pure water, and ultra-pure water, it serves as a pre-treatment method for reverse osmosis (RO) membrane systems, ensuring the stable operation of RO membranes and subsequent equipment.

II.Structural Designs

① Flat Plate Type: Limited specific surface area and processing capacity, less suitable for large-scale engineering applications.
② Spiral Wound Type: Non-backwashable design with high pre-treatment requirements.
③ Tubular Type: Lower packing density and membrane area per unit volume, coupled with higher energy consumption.
④ Hollow Fiber Type: Features high packing density, low energy consumption, large flux, long service life, and backwashability—making it the preferred choice for practical engineering applications.

IV.Key Maintenance Notes

  • Avoid exposure to rain, direct sunlight, UV light, freezing, collisions, drops, or mechanical damage during transportation.
  • Store membrane modules in well-ventilated indoor environments free of corrosive gases, at temperatures between 5~40°C and humidity levels of 30~60%.
  • For used modules: Never allow dehydration—always store them in a wet state. After dismantling from the system and cleaning, immerse modules in industrial or pure water within a water tank. Replace water regularly (as needed) and add 1% sodium bisulfite to prevent bacterial growth. Before reuse, clean modules with a specified disinfectant solution and rinse thoroughly with industrial or pure water.

V.Application

① Diverse Pure Water Supply Systems
Ideal for steel plants, chemical facilities, power plants, pharmaceutical factories, electronics manufacturing, and more.
② Pre-Treatment for RO & Nanofiltration Systems
③ Municipal Drinking Water Production
As industrial pollution and freshwater shortages intensify, ultrafiltration-treated urban wastewater can be repurposed for both industrial and potable use.
④ Seawater Desalination
In coastal regions facing freshwater scarcity, our ultrafiltration membranes serve as critical pre-treatment for RO-based desalination systems, delivering high-quality feed water to ensure stable RO operation—an advancement that has transformed water reuse since the 1960s.
⑤ Industrial Reclaimed Water Systems
Suitable for water recycling in chlor-alkali, PVC, coking, pesticide, semiconductor, pulp & paper, textile, and dyeing industries.
⑥ Advanced Treatment & Reuse of Cooling Circulating Water
⑦ Industrial Wastewater Treatment
Enables recovery of coatings from electrophoretic painting wastewater.
⑧ Specialized Industry Applications
Leverages macromolecule interception for concentration processes in winemaking, food processing, traditional Chinese medicine extraction, hemodialysis, and more.
