Overview
Ultrapure water serves as the base mobile phase and sample solvent in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and its purity directly impacts the accuracy, reproducibility of analytical results, and instrument lifespan. 
HPLC ultra-pure water serves as the “invisible chromatographic column” in liquid phase analysis. Its ultimate purity of 18.25 MΩ·cm is achieved through a four-step process: UV filtration, mixed-bed ion exchange, ultrafiltration, and degassing. Especially in high-sensitivity gradient analysis, controlling total organic carbon (TOC) and metal ions is crucial to avoid false-positive results. It is recommended to select a professional purification system with real-time monitoring capabilities and strictly adhere to the “zero storage, zero contamination” usage principle.
